Riverside Hockey Club is dedicated to unlocking the full potential of every young player, guiding their development into well-rounded, valued members of our club across all levels of the game. Unlike many clubs, we refrain from tiering teams until the senior level, focusing instead on providing personalised attention to each player’s technical, tactical, mental, and physical growth.
We prioritise quality coaching with a target ratio of one coach for every eight players, allowing for small-group sessions that ensure individualized attention and skill development. Drawing inspiration from our affiliations with top international clubs and associations, our coaching methods incorporate the latest global trends in player development.
Our experienced coaches, carefully selected and trained for their attention to detail, bring both regional expertise and a passion for the game to each training session. We have a proud history of producing numerous provincial and international players, many of whom now captain our senior men’s and women’s 1st teams or serve as coaches in our Junior program.
We strive to make every session both fun and challenging, blending match techniques and tactical insights into a unique youth development program that fosters growth, teamwork, and a love of the game.
