Rivers members Malikah Hamza and Keegan Hezlett were called to National duty with the Spar SA Women and the Blitzstoks respectively this past week, as they took to the coastal city of Swakopmund, nestled between the Namibian sand and sea, for the 2024 Indoor African Cup. Both teams impressed on their way to the final, the Ladies successfully claiming top honours with the men narrowly finishing second. This means that both teams have booked their place at the 2025 IHWC in Croatia! Well done to you both, and good luck for your World Cup preparations!
